Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have signed a development contract for the Ras El Hikma project, marking the largest investment deal in Egypt’s history. The agreement entails investments totaling $150 billion over the project development period, with approximately $35 billion in direct investments for the Egyptian state expected within two months.
In the announcement ceremony for this monumental investment deal, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly emphasized that it represents the largest direct investment deal ever in Egypt’s history, particularly for the development of the new city project, Ras El Hikma, situated on the North Coast.
