Real estate transactions in Dubai surged to $173 billion in 2023.

According to official data from the Dubai Land Department (DLD), Dubai saw 166,400 real estate transactions totaling AED 634 billion ($172.61 billion) in 2023.

Real estate investments surged by 55 percent year-on-year, reaching AED 412 billion, driven by 113,655 investors, including 71,002 new participants, marking a 20 percent increase compared to the previous year, as reported by the UAE state-run Wam news agency.

The proportion of non-resident investors rose to 42 percent of the total new investors.
