Turkey has agreed to supply drones to Egypt.

Turkey has reached an agreement to supply its widely used drones to Egypt following the normalization of relations between the two countries after a decade of strained ties, as stated by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Egypt on February 14th to meet with his counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. This marks Erdogan’s first visit since Ankara and Cairo improved relations by appointing ambassadors last year. Fidan mentioned that during the visit, Erdogan will engage in discussions with Sisi on various topics, including bilateral and regional matters such as trade, energy, and security.
